Details of Eligibility for SSC-Multi-Tasking:

Eligibility conditions that are needed to apply for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Multi-Tasking Staff Exam are mentioned below

Nationality:

The candidate must be either:

(a) A citizen of India, or

(b) A subject of Nepal, or

(c) A subject of Bhutan, or

(d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1st, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Ethiopia, Malawi, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling down in India.

 

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age limit should be between 18-25 years as on 01-01-2014 (born not earlier than 02-01-1989 and not later than 01-01-1996).

 

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

For SC/ ST age relaxation is 5 years

For OBC age relaxation is 3 years

For PH age relaxation is 10 years

For PH + OBC age relaxation is 13 years

For PH + SC/ST age relaxation is 15 years

For (Unreserved / General) Ex-Servicemen age relaxation is 3 years

For (OBC) Ex-Servicemen age relaxation is 6 years

For (SC/ST) Ex-Servicemen age relaxation is 8 years

For (General/Unreserved) Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on crucial date, age relaxation is up to 40 years

For (OBC) Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on crucial date, age relaxation is up to 43 years

For (SC/ST) Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on crucial date, age relaxation is up to 45 years of age

For (General/Unreserved) the candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir age relaxation is 5 years

For the (OBC) candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir age relaxation is 8 years

For the (SC/ST) candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir age relaxation is 10 years

For (General/Unreserved) Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who those are not remarried age relaxation is up to 35 years of age

For (OBC) Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who those are not remarried age relaxation is up to 38 years of age

For (SC/ST) Widows / Divorced Women / Women judicially separated and who those are not remarried age relaxation is up to 40 years of age

For (General/Unreserved) Defense Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof age relaxation is 3 years

For (OBC) Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof age relaxation is 6 (3+3) years

For (SC/ST) Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof age relaxation is 8 (3+5) years

For (General/Unreserved) Service Clerks in the last year of their color service in the Armed Forces age relaxation is up to 45 years of age

For (OBC) Service Clerks in the last year of their color service in the Armed Forces age relaxation is up to 48 years of age

For (SC/ST) Service Clerks in the last year of their color service in the Armed Forces age relaxation is Up to 50 years of age

For (Unreserved/General) Retrenched census employees of Office of Registrar General of India, (They will be considered only for the offices under RGI in their orders of merit and subject to availability of vacancies) age relaxation is 3 years plus length of service rendered by them in connection with census, before retrenchment , and Weightage of past service.

For (OBC) Retrenched census employees of Office of Registrar General of India age relaxation (They will be considered only for offices under RGI in their order of merit and subject to availability of vacancies) + 3 years

For (SC/ST) Retrenched census employees of Office of Registrar General of India, (They will be considered only for offices under RGI in their order of merit and subject to availability of vacancies) + 5 years

 

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized board/University as on 13-12-2013
